The difference b/w Thai Culture and American Culture

First of all, America is totally difference from what I expected. I thought It would be like in movies that I had seen but it wasnt. Everything is different. well, somethin is still same but ..whatever. America is really big. Its bigger than what I expected again. There are too many kind of people such as nice, mean, unpredictable, crazy, insane, workaholic and many many kind that I cant even tell all of it. I thought that all I really mean all American are really nice to Asian people who has a really bad english like me but not. some are really mean to me cause my english isnt good and I have some kind of problem to communicate. well, This is my first year what do you all expect ? but I didnt say that there arent any nice people. THere are a bunch of people who treat me nicely. I appreciate that.
Thai culture is different from American culture that we need to act politely to elder people. we cant say any bad words or act rudely to them. We need to say really formal words to elder people like Sa-wad-de means Hello. we can say like that to friends but If we want to say hello to elder people we have to say Sa-wad-da-ka to make it sounds more politely. I like american culture better sometimes. To act politely to show our respect to them not by words.
Thai houses are really close to each other. we dont have much space of yard. Maybe because I live in the capital city so I dont know about country side. Anyways, There is a difference. American houses seem like It was buit on a hill. Every houses dont have a flat land. you know what I am say like. Like a road, its flat all the way and its smoot. I bet American dont have much neighborhood. lol..... They live too far from each other. Not every houses though but my house live realllly far from the house next to me. Well, I think If I go to NY I may see something same as thailand.
My fav part about American culture is when people who dont know each other say how are you doing or say hi or smile to each other. Thats what I really like. That makes me feel like they are friendly and I just wanna get to know them. I want to do like that in Thailand when I go back but I think everyone I say to will probably think that Im crazy. I like to go to Ingle and Walmart because we can check out by ourselves. Thats really cool. well, we dont have those things in Thailand though. Thats why I want to go there and do it. lol such a little things.
However, I think I fall in love with America and American boys also.lol before I came here it was me decision to be an exchange student in America and Im glad that I came here and spend 10 months in here. I love America. I dont care who hate Asian people like me but some day, maybe not tomorrow or next year but it will be some day that I can speak english like American. and Im deathly serious about this. Im planning about coming back this summer to work with my friend who is livine in Ohio now.Its not anyone fault that I cant born to be American. Im glad to born to be Thai but I just regress that I cant speak english really well. Sometimes when people say something and I dont understand that make me feel so studpid but anyways, I Love you, America

Field Day & Prom

Field Day & prom are on this friday which is tomorrow. This will be my first time and last time to come to prom in America. I heard lots of people talk about Prom and field day.
First of all, field day is going to be really fun. I hope so...Im on Dr.pepper team which have me, Emily, Jordan, George and Minzi. well, everyone said Dr.pepper's shirt is really ugly. It is brown color but I dont care though. its better than black color. we will be at the school around 8.oo til lunch time.
lets talk about prom. I also heard lots of things about prom from my friends. Everybody said that our prom sucks. There will be like a few people show up at prom cause most of them prefer to have their own party. I used to think that a prom in America will be like in movies. A bunch of people dance on the floor, have a prom king and queen, and bunch of hot guys lol. This is totally differet from what I expected. I really hope that everyone will behave and enjoy this activity together. you know what Im saying. I just dont want them to walk out and ruin this prom dance. It is my frist time and It will be my last time in America so I just want it to be great! Dagny invited me to go to prom by limousine with them. I paid $50 for that. I think thats a really good price. at first we thought that limou can fit in like 16 people but truely we can fit in only 10 people. The best part is I dont have a date. That sucks.....but its okay though cause I dont have to run around and busy to help guy find a tux and those kind of stuff. now Im happy to go by myself.. like a single lady :P
Tomorrow is that day Im waiting for :)))

Im going to California.

I'll leave LaGrange on May 29 ,2009. Then I'll go to LA to visit my aunt's friends. They are American though not Thai people so that give me a good chance to speak english again.
anyways, we are planning to go to Berverly Hills, Hollywood, beach, Universal, San Fransico and Las Vegas. I told my aunt that I dont really want to go to the beach and hang out all day long cause there are so many prettier beached in Thailand and I just dont wanna waste my time to get tan skin. I also told her that If i cant get into casino in LasVegas so whats the point to go there? well, there are so many fun things to do in California that we cando while we are there.
I'll be there til June6, 2009 and fly back to Thailand. I dont really want to think about flyin back to Thailand. That will be a realllllllllllly loooooong trip. It probabbly takes like 24 hrs or maybe more. I have to fly back by myself cause I already had a round trip ticket to go to back to Thailand so I'll go seperatly with my aunt.
I think Im better to go and search about things to do in California!!!

Aquarium & Zoo

yesterday, all of Mrs.McCoy's class went to the aquarium and the zoo. It was okay. Not good and not that bad. We were at the school around 7.45. We headed to Atlanta. I sat with some girl that I didnt know her name cause we dont have any classes together so I just dont know her name.
We were at the Aquarium. Mrs. McCoy seperated all of students into 2 groups. My group has Min-Zi, Hye- Jin, Seon-Hye, Sunny, Bibiana, Justin, Jacob, Jordan, Yancey, Marina, Drew and Chan. That were all I remember. There was a guid named Eric. He told us bunch of info that I couldnt remember and understand. I saw a huge whale shark. It was the biggest whale shark that I ever seen. they were in a huge tank and I was thinking that If someone falled in there, they would die in a second. anyways, before we left, we just walked around the aquarium. I tought a little sharks and some kind og fish that I dont know their name. their skins were really smooth.
Then we ate at the versity. I hate this place. their frech fried taseted like crap!!! but many people said it was really good so I just shut my mouth and said nothing.
We went to the zoo around 1.15. we got into the conference room and listen the guild talked for an hour I guess. he showed some slide show or an animals pictures. That zoo is really big. Anyways. I just took a picture with a panda and walked around.
I was extremly tired !!!!

Happy Thai New Year

Last week, It was Thai New year. I wish I could be there with my family and my friends. My family traditionally we will get together in this day. One of my relatives , they have a resturant so we will get together at there sometimes.
The most well known about Thai New year is everywhere every street every corner of building , people will play water fight. we have a walk street that is really famous to play water fight with foreigners. It was all day all night long. Most of teenagers dont go home til the police tell them to go home. In front of Siam Paragon which is the biggest mall in Thailand. This place and this road are like the center of water fight. There are a concert everywhere. It is the best festival in a year.
It is kinda sad for the polices because they still have to work on these days. Most of a polices will get wet and full of wet powder on their faces. It is funny to see this picture and they cant even get upset about it. By the way, this festival is continuing 3 days. Pretty much, people usually plat on the first and the last day
Its too bad. My dad doesnt let me play anymore because He is worries about me to get hurt or something like that. This is the worst day of the year. I hate to stay at home and pick up my phone call and say that I cant go because I have to do this do that. I remember one time, a bunch of my friends called me and I gave them all the excuse that I had. Then they caught me that I was lying to them. Finally, I told them that I couldnt go because of my dad didnt allow me. After that year, everyone dont call me again because they know that I cant come anyways. It is kinda sad they have fun without me.TT

Thailand

Im so sick and tired about the problem in Thailand. I watch CNN last week. A reporter said something like no one will aviod to come to Thailand. Actually, This problem should have done by now. It used to have a yellow shirt who are on the king side or we called people who love the country but now there is a new group of bad people, they wear a red- shirt. They are on Thanksin's side, who used to be the prime minister. I talked with some of my friends in the States about this and we all said that we hate red-shirt people. They are the most selfishest people in the world that I have ever seen. They hurt other people because they just want to get money from Thanksin. They betrayed the king and Queen. By the way, Thanksin paid bunch of money to gain people tp be on his side. The whole problem just came from him and just only him.
I wish this will end as soon as possible.I dont wanna see anyone die from this stupid thing. I hope that every country will not let Thanksin gets in there country. I hope someone will assosinated him........ I hope the next prime minister wont be power hungry as previous one.

Game

I dont know that title of this game but I used to play it when I was young.
1. seperate into 2 teams
2. first team stands in a circle and second team stands inside the circle
3. first team have to throw a ball to hit anybody in the circle
4.those who is hit by the ball is out !

I think this is a really fun game but im not good at explain it so just try to understand what I just said hahahha
